Information about Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox One X console has reportedly been leaked through some early listings. According to reports, the listings went live on the websites of two retailers in Germany. Official information about availability of the Xbox One X is expected from Microsoft at gamescom this weekend.
One of the listings reveals that the Project Scorpio edition is a limited edition model only, meant “for the biggest fans”.
On the other hand, reports say that the Project Scorpio version of the Xbox One X will pay homage to the original. The branding will include the code name, that is the Scorpion logo, on both the console and the controller. The entire device will apparently have a custom paint job as well, with the controller getting an all-black colour scheme and the console itself with a textured finish, which regular Xbox versions do not have.
Further, one of the listings reveals that the Project Scorpio edition is a limited edition model only, meant “for the biggest fans”. As The Verge points out, if this is true, it would be similar to the original Xbox One’s “Day One” edition, which had also been sold with a unique controller.
