Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A6 and A6+.

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A6 and A6+. The company has listed the two new Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ smartphones on its official global website, listing down the specifications.

The smartphone that is available in four colours Black, Gold, Blue and Lavender, boasts front and rear camera, a sleek premium design and Samsung’s signature Super AMOLED Infinity Display.

Going by the specs, A6 will get a 5.6-inch HD+ (720x1480 pixels) panel, while the Galaxy A6+ will sport a larger 6.0-inch full-HD+ (1080x2220 pixels) display - both featuring the Infinity Display design with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The tech major says the handsets “sleek smooth curves and metal design have been engineered to offer improved durability and comfortable grip for maximum usability, without compromising on style.”

Both the smartphones will come in 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB Inbuilt storage options, and support microSD cards of up to 256GB capacities. In addition, the devices will also get Bixby, Bixby Vision, Home, and Reminder. Further, while Galaxy A6 will run the Android 8.0 Oreo, the A6+ will get octa-core 1.6GHz and octa-core 1.8GHz SoC.

Samsung Pay has also been included in both the devices, and as such "users will always have their wallet to hand". Supporting Near Field Communication (NFC), the Galaxy A6 and A6+ can be used virtually anywhere you can tap your credit or debit card, the company noted.
