The Google Pixelbook, which has often been called the best Chromebook on the market, is available at a discounted price right now. The device was originally priced at $1000, but you can buy it for $750 for a limited time, on Google’s online store and Best Buy.
While $750 doesn’t really make it a cheap laptop, a discount of $250 may convince some people to buy the laptop. Chromebooks still have some way to go before they can properly take on Macbooks and Windows laptops, yet, the Google Pixelbook goes a long way in accomplishing that.
The Pixelbook runs on the Intel Core i5 processor and has 128GB storage inside, along with 8GB of RAM. There’s also a 256GB storage variant of the device, which can now be bought for $950. And lastly, the 512GB variant of the device, which has 16GB of RAM, is available for $1400.
Given the specifications of the Pixelbook, the laptop is only bound by the limitations of ChromeOS right now. So, buying it at this time should mean that future upgrades and updates for ChromeOS will work on the device, making it a longer lasting laptop.
