Leica’s limited edition Monochrom camera is a niche product, but it will definitely speak to geeks. The camera shoots black and white photos only and is almost entirely black in colours. Looks good, right? Wait till you turn off the lights and it starts glowing in the dark. Yes, that’s exactly what it does.
This stealth edition camera is being bundled with the Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH lens as well.

It’s obviously not meant for regular buyers. But then again, that’s never been Leica’s style any way. The markings on the camera are black in colour and glow green when it’s dark. The camera is made in collaboration with Marcus Wainwright, CEO and founder of Rag & Bone. It’s a limited edition product, so not many should be sold either.
The Leica Monochrom camera was launched back in 2012, with a new version coming in 2015. It’s different from regular digital cameras, because it collects color data and doesn’t have a filter over the sensor. That allows it to gather more light and produce better details.
