Spotify and Hulu’s partnership is turning out to be really good for consumers. The companies are teaming up to offer a new bundle, worth $12.99 per month. For that price, you will get subscriptions to both Spotify Premium and Hulu’s video-on-demand service, though it will be with ads. This is only available to Spotify Premium subscribers right now.
It’s unclear when the bundle will be made available though. Netflix and Hulu are only saying that it will be coming in the summers. If you are already a Spotify Premium customer, you can try a three-month trial subscription of Hulu by paying $0.99 extra every month, right now. If it works out for you, you can decide to pay the $12.99 later.
The new option is currently only available to users who pay for Spotify Premium and for those who are new Hulu subscribers, though Hulu said it plans to offer it to everyone sometime this summer. You may also qualify for it if you cancelled your Hulu subscription at least a year ago. For others, the $12.99 subscription is the only option.
The companies had started the bundle as a student offer in September last year, but it is being made widely available now.
