OnePlus is preparing to launch the OnePlus 5T soon. The company has confirmed that the device will still have a headphone jack and now a new photo suggests that the device will look very similar to the Oppo R11S (photo above). The photo was leaked by Venturebeat’s Evan Blass, who has been known to be accurate with his tips before.
Having said that, it’s not surprising that OnePlus would choose such a design. The company is owned by China’s BBK Electronics, which is also the parent for Oppo and Vivo. In fact, the OnePlus 5 has the same design as the Oppo R11, while the company’s earlier devices have also been identical to Oppo’s smartphones.
The OnePlus 5T is expected to have 18:9 displays, along with the Snapdragon 835 chipset and 6/8GB of RAM. OnePlus should also be selling 64/128GB versions of the device, while it should continues with the 20MP and 16MP dual-camera setup on the back. We also expect the company’s Optic AMOLED displays to make an appearance, but with slightly higher FHD+ resolution this time.
