Hands on photos of the upcoming OnePlus 5T smartphone have been leaked online, days before the device is actually launched. The phone was revealed by ZDNet Germany, putting the phone alongside others like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The website also leaked the specification sheet for the OnePlus 5T.
OnePlus has cut the bezels to as thin as possible, though the phone doesn’t really measure up to the standards set by phones like the iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
As expected, the OnePlus 5T looks almost exactly like the Oppo R11s, which also has a 6 inch AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080p resolution. The OnePlus 5T weighs 162 grams and its full dimensions are 156.1x75x7.3 mm. The company has cut the bezels to as thin as possible, though the phone doesn’t really measure up to the standards set by phones like the iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Further, the OnePlus 5T also runs on the Snapdragon 835 chipset and has a 3000 mAh battery. The phone runs on Oxygen OS, layered over Android Nougat and has 6GB of RAM, along with 64GB storage. There will be another variant of the device with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
There’s no confirmation on how much the OnePlus 5T will cost you though. However, some reports have said that the device may be sold at the same price as the OnePlus 5.
