Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus will launch its next-generation flagship, OnePlus 5T in Manhattan, New York. In a tweet, the company asked “which city we’re going to party in for the OnePlus 5T launch”. The tweet reflects an image which is found to be Manhattan's popular intersection of West 34th Street and Broadway, in New York city indicating that the launch event could possibly take place in New York.

The handset has been leaked quite extensively revealing almost all its possible specifications and features. Now its fans eagerly await the launch date which could be anytime soon. A previous tweet by OnePlus showed the OnePlus 5 stacked on top of the OnePlus 5T. With no trace of the OnePlus 5T seen, it’s confirmed that the size and dimensions will be the same as the OnePlus 5.

While the Shenzhen-based operator is yet to confirm the phone’s specifications, the phone is expected to be armed with either a 6GB or 8GB RAM Snapdragon 835 processor with 64GB or 128GB storage, and an expandable memory provision with the conventional microSD card slot.

The flagship smartphone OnePlus 5T may also see an upgrade in terms of the camera and may sport an enhanced dual 20MP cameras as compared to its predecessor OnePlus 5 that boasts a dual-camera setup, featuring a 16MP main sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor.

Going strictly by the leaks, it appears that the forthcoming handset will be similar to Oppo's R11S. As we said previously, the device is likely to feature the 6.01inch 18:9 FHD+ screen as listed on GFXBench as initially reported by technology blog TechieState.

While the company is yet to confirm the launch date, it appears that the device will made its debut on November 16.
