It seems there are more Nokia smartphones coming out this year. Renders leaked on the Internet show a new Nokia 5.1 handset, which follows more modern design trends. The company, that launched three new smartphones recently, is expected to launch slightly updated devices before the end of 2018 now.
The renders show a notched display and two cameras, and should be an update to the Nokia 5 smartphone. The renders were created by OnLeakshave using CAD, and it shows a dual-camera on the back of the device as well. That’s rare for Nokia, at least for its mid-ranged devices.
The notched display would perhaps mean at least 1080p resolution on the device and the two cameras should have at least 13 MP resolution each. The smartphone is expected to be launched alongside the Nokia X6, which is also expected soon.
It’s worth noting that none of this is official information from HMD Global, so you shouldn’t consider the device confirmed just yet. However, for a new company trying to make its mark on the market, it would make sense for Nokia to come up with more devices this year.
