As the 2018 edition of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) rolls in, the company may have accidentally leaked a peek on the next edition of macOS. It seems macOS 10.4 will have a Dark Mode built in, something that has become quite common in consumer electronics today.
The information was revealed by Steve Troughton-Smith, who found a 30-second preview video showing the development software. He tweeted a bunch of screenshots of the company’s next Xcode 10, which show the feature in action.
Smith’s video also shows a new Apple News icon that can be seen on the dock. It seems the App Store is also getting video previews now.
It’s also worth noting that a dark mode is currently available on macOS, though it only applies to the menu bar and the dock.
We won’t have to wait much longer to find out more. Apple’s WWDC 2018 begins on June 4, at 1PM ET, and Apple should be revealing more about all of its software, including macOS and iOS.
