Microsoft kicked off the 2018 edition of its Build 2018 conference today. And the company took to the stage to unveil a new app called “Your Phone”. The app allows deeper integration between smartphones and Windows PCs, by mirroring your phone straight to a desktop computer or laptop. Of course, that’s as long as you’re using Windows 10 on the PC.

The Your Phone app allows you to see call notifications on your phone on the PC, along with SMSs, photos and other notifications.

The app works with both iOS and Android devices, though its features will vary based on what platform you’re using. The feature itself isn’t absolutely new, since apps like Pushbullet have existed earlier. However, Microsoft’s app makes it native to Windows, which means it could have greater functionalities in future. It’s also easier to trust, since you won’t have to give a third party app access to your notifications and phone.

The Your Phone app allows you to see call notifications on your phone on the PC, along with SMSs, photos and other notifications. The company will be bringing the app to Windows Insiders this week.

That though means that the app isn’t confirmed for everyone yet. Microsoft will take feedback from those on the Insider platform to decide whether to have a wider rollout.
