The Huawei P20 may have a notch like the iPhone X, and vertical dual cameras. The company is expected to launch the device on March 27, and a new leak shows a notch on its front, with a vertical dual camera setup on the back. While this is of course unsubstantiated right now, critics allege that the Chinese smartphone maker has been known to take elements of Apple’s design in the past.
The Huawei P20 is expected to run on the company’s own flagship-class chipset and will have a 1080p display on the base variant.
One wonders why it would pick up the notch though. While Apple used the notch on the bezel-less iPhone X, no one really appreciated the use. That is not to say everyone hated it, but the common consensus seems to be that the notch is something you have to “live with”, even if you don’t like it.
The Huawei P20 is expected to run on the company’s own flagship-class chipset. It should have a 1080p display on the base variant, but Huawei is also expected to unveil a P20 Plus and P20 Lite this time. The P20 Plus will likely sport a QHD display, while the company never really misses a chance to add flagship features.
