Google has been working on a new unified payments service for Android devices. The company has been expected to replace Android Pay and Google Wallet with this service, and it’s finally starting. The Unified Payments payments service is being added to Android from today, rolling out to users.

It seems like Google wants to make Google Pay omnipresent across your systems. It’s likely that the company will eventually integrate it to Chrome OS as well.

The app in question will have a “Home” tab that will show you recent payment activity. It will also show offers in stores near you and more information, using Google’s card-based interface. There will also be a “Cards” tab on the app, that gives you access to the credit, debit, gift and rewards cards you add to the system. In case you didn’t know, the app is known as Google Pay.

The company has pretty big plans for Google Pay, promising that it will be on all of its products soon, including the Assistant and Chrome. So, it seems like Google wants to make Google Pay omnipresent across your systems. It’s likely that the company will eventually integrate it to Chrome OS as well. Reports say that Google is working on making a Venmo-like service for Google Wallet that should be coming to Google Pay as well, in the US and UK markets.
