Dell has announced two new XPS models at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. The Texas-based company unveiled the XPS 13 and XPS 15 2-in-1 laptops. According to Dell, the XPS 15 2-in-1 is a small but very powerful notebook powered by Intel's latest 8th Gen core processor with the newly launched Radeon RX Vega M graphics from AMD on the same chip. Frank Azor, VP and GM of XPS, Alienware, and Dell Gaming, told the media that it was the most powerful 2-in-1 ever produced thanks to AMD and the American chip maker Intel.

There’s also Dell's premium ‘Active Pen’, which can be ‘attached’ magnetically to the laptop via built-in magnets. The laptop come with two Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB-C 3.1 ports, and a microSD card reader. In addition, its 75Wh battery gives you a cool 15 hours of battery life. Currently, the laptop is available in machined aluminium carbon fibre finish and will be sold in the US only in April starting at $1,299.99 (GBP 960).

The American computer maker also launched its compact Thunderbolt 3 storage device along with portable drives at the trade show in Las Vegas. In a press release, the tech major claims the Thunderbolt 3 storage drive is one of the fastest portable drives available. “At Dell, innovation never sleeps. The company’s new portable SSD portable derives will initially be sold only in the US and will be available in two variants – Thunderbolt SSD 1000 (1TB) and SSD 500 (500GB). Dell portable Thunderbolt 3 SSD in 500GB is priced at $439 (roughly GBP 325), while 1TB comes at $799 (roughly GBP 590). Dell aims to ship the devices globally by end of next month.
