Apple is apparently introducing a bunch of new colours for its iPhone X models this year. The company is expected to bring three new iPhones, but the iPhone X will obviously lead that line. According to noted Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, the new version of the phone will be available in black, white, and a new gold colour. There will also be blue, red and orange iPhone X models along with that.
While Apple has done red iPhones before, as part of its partnership with Product (RED), the Blue and Orange colours would be a first. It also shows that Apple is keeping up with trends being set by Android smartphone makers. Product (RED) is an organisation that battles AIDS and HIV issues in Africa.
The new iPhone X is expected to have a 6.5 inch OLED display, along with a new chipset from the company. The OLED panels will come from both Samsung and LG, though Samsung is expected to remain the primary supplier for the displays. The iPhone 9 and 9 Plus should also accompany the device, at a lower price point.
It’s unclear when the next iPhones will be launched, but it should be sometime in August, like every year.
