Samsung announced that its Galaxy S9 Plus has been named the “Best New Connected Mobile Device” at the ongoing MWC 2018.

Samsung Electronics announced on Friday that its new flagship smartphone the Galaxy S9 Plus has been named the “Best New Connected Mobile Device” at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018).

The Galaxy S9+ was selected for its refined design, advanced camera and outstanding performance.

The prize is awarded to new smartphones unveiled at the MWC, based on votes from analysts, journalists and influential market players.

Samsung’s new flagship device boasts a new super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and comes armed with improved cameras and augmented reality features. The S9 also has the ability to create a 3D cartoon version of your face, capable of recognising up to 18 different expressions.
