The Apple Watch Series 3 is having connectivity issues. While Apple hasn’t started delivering the Watches to customers just yet, issues with LTE connectivity have been reported by many of the initial reviews. And finally, Apple devices that it had to provide a statement on the same. Here’s Apple’s full statement.

"We have discovered that when Apple Watch Series 3 joins unauthenticated Wi-Finnetworks without connectivity, it may at times prevent the watch from using cellular. We are investigating a fix for a future software release."

Apple had announced a sea of telecom partners who will support the Apple Watch Series 3 at launch. The device comes fitted with Apple’s e-SIM, but is the first Apple Watch to sport LTE connectivity. The feature allows the Watch to function without being attached to an iPhone, though Apple said that both watch and phone needs to be on the same telecom network for the wearable to function properly.

The Apple Watch Series 3 was announced at Apple’s event recently. While the LTE version of the Watch is in focus, the Apple Watch Series 3 is also available in a non-LTE variant, while Apple is still selling both the first two generations of the Apple Watch as well.
