Did you like Star Wars: The Last Jedi recently? Well, many did. And that’s probably why people want to monetise on it even more. There’s a comic book adaptation of the story, coming on May 2. The adaptation is being done by Gary Whitta, the screenwriter for Star Wars: Rogue One, who appears to be very excited about his new job.
Artists Michael Walsh and Mike Spicer will also be joining Whitta, while Joe Queseda, editor-in-chief of Marvel will be producing a variant cover for the comic book. This will have Rey on Jakku. “Excited to announce I’ll be drawing the adaptation of #StarWars#TheLastJedi for #MarvelComics . We’ll be adding scenes and telling others from a new perspective,” said Walsh on Instagram.
In the meanwhile, there’s also a novel adaptation of the story around the corner, which will come to the bookstores on March 6. Reports say that the book will actually have a bunch of added scenes, not seen in the movie.
