Sexual harassment been on people’s minds recently, following allegations against producer Harvey Weinstein. The recent allegations against Spacey had been reported by Buzzfeed News, in an interview with Rapp earlier. Spacey had immediately responded on Twitter, saying that he didn’t remember the event, though he apologised for what he called “inappropriate drunken behaviour”.
The controversy was fuelled further because Spacey also took the opportunity to come out as gay. It seems Netflix is taking all this very seriously and has decided to put things to rest before continuing with the next season of House of Cards.
