Microsoft announced officially unveiled Gears 5 the first new game in the grisly shooter series since 2016.
Announced during Microsoft's E3 2018 media briefing, the game's reveal was paired with a five-minute cinematic trailer and a two-minute unveiling of in-game footage. The game will offer single-player, local co-op, online co-op across its campaign, the "biggest, most beautiful" experience in the series.
Gears 5 shifts its focus to Kait Diaz, diving deeper into her background with a continuation on 2016's Gears of War 4 as she journeys across the biggest, most beautiful Gears world ever created.
“Gears 5” will be released in 2019 on Xbox One and Windows 10 and will come to Xbox Game Pass on the same date as its global release.
