A bulge in Tim Cook’s pocket has sparked iPhone 8 rumours

The iPhone 8 is expected to be launched on September 12.
By Adam Smith,

A photo tweeted by Tim Cook has sparked iPhone rumours online. The CEO tweeted a photo of himself at an Apple manufacturer’s factory. In the photo, one can see a bulge in Cook’s pocket, which many say is caused by the iPhone 8. The photo really doesn’t tell us anything about the device, but the Internet is on about it in full force.

The iPhone 8 will have a bezel-less 5.8 inch display and two 12 megapixel cameras on the back, placed vertically.

Some suggested that the bulge is too narrow to be the iPhone 7, and not tall enough to be the iPhone 7 Plus. So, it must be the iPhone 8, right? After all, one can expect Tim Cook to be the first person on the planet to use an iPhone 8. It’s just possible that Cook is using the iPhone 7S or iPhone 7S Plus though, two devices that are expected to accompany the iPhone 8 this year.

Furthermore, the photo gives us absolutely nothing on the device itself. According to recent rumours, the iPhone 8 will have a bezel-less 5.8 inch display and two 12 megapixel cameras on the back, placed vertically. The device is expected to sport wireless charging and waterproofing as well.

The Cupertino-based company is expected to launch the iPhone 8 on September 12.
